About the Role:

At ABB, innovation and progress go hand in hand. As a Data Analytics & BI Specialist, you’ll be instrumental in helping industries operate leaner and cleaner. You’ll contribute your expertise to ABB’s Process Automation business, within the BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division in Bangalore, India.

This role involves building an end-to-end business intelligence framework for online products and SaaS solutions. You’ll be expected to recommend appropriate architectures (on-premises or cloud), design analytics and reporting solutions, and deliver insights that drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build intuitive dashboards following best practices, selecting the right metrics and layout for impactful visualization.
• Analyze data using statistical techniques to produce actionable insights and create ongoing reports.
• Lead innovation through adoption of new architectural and design paradigms, ensuring performance and long-term system stability.
• Identify improvements in reporting processes, troubleshoot issues, and deliver user-friendly analytics solutions based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain strong customer focus, understanding their needs and the business value of data solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with business and technology teams to guide solution development and implementation.

Key Technical Skills:

Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL, R, Python, Data Analysis, Statistical Techniques, Dashboard Design

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, operations, or finance.
• Proven expertise in Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Familiarity with SQL queries, R, and Python is an advantage.
• Strong background in process improvement and optimization.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
